A homeless man identified as Shurvell Rush, age 47, was pronounced dead at South Shore University Hospital after he was found stabbed in the vicinity of Bay Shore’s Long Island Rail Road station on the evening of May 3.
Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) Third Precinct officers responded to a 911 call at 6:40 p.m., when they discovered Rush behind 115 Railroad Plaza, with stab wounds to the chest. Rush was known as an undomiciled individual.
