International Coastal Cleanup Day on Fire Island

September 18 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

In conjunction with the Ocean Conservancy, Village of Ocean Beach Environmental Commission hold its annual beach debris  clean up in cooperation with neighboring communities  of Atlantique, Robbins Rest, Summer Club, Corneille Estates Seaview Ocean Bay Park,  Point O’Woods, Oakleyville and Fire Island National Seashore. Robert Moses and Captree as well as other state parks on Long Island State park are also partaking in International Coastal Cleanup Day, in cooperation with the American Littoral Society. Call (631)669-0449 EXT. 204 for more information.

Democrat Point beach clean up for 4X4 vehicle pass holders is being overseen by Central Long Island’s chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. Email chair@centralli.surfrider.org for more details.
