A week of rainy weather forced a pivot in plans for Islip Arts Council’s concert for Heckscher State Park on August 10, but they pulled it off beautifully. Orchestra Long Island performed in the dry comfort of East Islip High School with Conductor David Stewart Wiley at the helm. Special Guest Performer Eddie Barbash did not disappoint. What a wonderful evening it was!
