Performers were equally divided from the world of theatre including: Tony Award nominee Patrick Page, Jenny Powers, Michele Ragusa, Bob Stillman and Jessica Hendy. From the world of cabaret are Carole J. Bufford, William Blake, Gabrielle Stravelli and Julie Reyburn.Highlights of the evening included the amazing Jason Gotay who sang “Being Good Isn’t Good Enough” one of the songs Leslie Uggams sang in her Tony Award winning role of Georgina in 1967’s Hallelujah, Baby! Lorraine Serabian was a showstopper singing a sensational rendition of “Life Is” from Zorba the Greek the song she originated 47 years ago in the original 1968 Broadway production. Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert also beautifully sang “Not a Day Goes By” from Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along.The Broadway by the Year series continues its 15th season on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 8pm with The Broadway Musicals of 1991-2015.Town Hall will also be presenting Tony Award nominee Cheyenne Jackson onFriday, June 12 at 8pm.
